CBD Cosmetic Products Will Be Offered In More Than 1000 Stores In The US
American chain of variety stores Dollar General has announced the plans to sell cannabidiol (CBD) cosmetic products in Tennessee and Kentucky, reported Reuters on December 10.
Dollar General management has also shared plans to offer cosmetic CBD products in other seven states by the third quarter of 2020. In US the company operates around 15 000 stores, in Kentucky and Tennessee – over 1000.
Jason Reise, company’s Chief Merchandising Officer, commented that the product line expansion is demand-driven:
“Our decision to offer CBD products is based on customer interests or demands”
Among other brands that responded to the demand for CBD cosmetic products are Sephora, ULTA Beauty Inc, and American Eagle Outfitters.
